Bookmark Brain is semantic search for your bookmarks — save pages as you browse, then find them again by
describing what they're about, not the exact title or folder you filed them in.
14 days, no card required
Search by meaning, not by memory.
Type "that article about pricing psychology" and it doesn't matter if you don't remember the title, the
site, or which folder you buried it in three months ago. Every bookmark is understood by what it's
actually about, not just its filename.
The Chrome extension saves and embeds a page instantly — a toolbar click or a right-click "Save to
Bookmark Brain." Search the same way, right from your browser, without opening the app.
Run it yourself, or let us run it.
Bookmark Brain is open-source and free to self-host on your own machine — full control, your own data, no
account needed. Or skip the setup with the hosted version: $5/month or $50/year, 14-day free trial,
nothing to install.
Bookmarks saved before this provider was configured are
still on their original embeddings. Re-embed them all for consistent, higher-quality search — this
re-uses the page content already saved, no re-fetching, but it does make one API call per bookmark.

Add preview images
Some of your bookmarks were saved before preview images existed, so
they show a plain tile. This re-visits those pages in the background and adds their preview image. Nothing
else about them changes.

Find duplicates
Scans for bookmarks that are likely the same thing saved twice — the same URL with a different tracking
link or a trailing slash, or two different links to near-identical content. Doesn't delete anything on
its own; you review each match and pick what to keep.
